AREAS OF RESEARCH

Forum for Indian Studies focuses on building new, strengthening existing partnerships and sharing know how; by providing research in the field of industry, technology, education and social innovation between India and the European Union.

FIS specializes in conducting/providing research in these areas-

1. Industry- Tourism, Automotive, Animation, Energy, Aeronautics, Sports and Aqua-culture
2. Technology- Information Technology (IT) and Bio-Technology (BT)
3. Education – University, Institution, R&D Center, Training Institution.
4. Social Innovation- Information Communication and Technology for Development(ICT4D) and Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)

Currently, FIS focus is limited to the above mentioned fields in four categories; primarily, for the reason that there is an enormous potential in these sectors by which Indo-European partners can benefit and learn in the current economic, social and political scenario of India. However, this list should not be seen as exhaustive; as FIS welcomes any proposals to provide customized research in other desired fields.

EDUCATION

FIS welcomes proposals to carry research in the field of Education, mainly for Universities,

Institutions, R&D Centers, Training Institutions in India and Europe.
